The informativeness of the symbol and the intentions of discourse in Nahj al-Balaghah

Abstract

This field of knowledge aims to study [the reporting of the symbol in the approach of rhetoric] and to show the reporting effect of the symbol in it, and the reasons that lead the creator to tend to it and use symbols in the content of his words in different purposes and circumstances of space, as the symbol is a creative means that is characterized by a side of ambiguity gives the text the element of suspense and expands the circle of creativity of the sender by giving him a wide space to express his purposes, and contributes to the involvement of the sender through reading, interpretation, decoding and revealing its meaning
